Why Should I Switch To Soy Toners?

Do Something Wonderful
Albert Schweitzer the 20th century philosopher, physician, and medical missionary once said: "Do something wonderful, people may imitate it." There's a lot of quality in that message, but we have a tendency to imitate things that have little quality and even less value. That statement applies to a lot of things. We imitate negative traits in order to produce positive outcomes, but that rarely happens. We mimic others in order to conform and that usually produces complacency and contempt.

But, imitation can be a wonderful thing if we copy the deeds and words of others who make a difference in the way life is experienced. In this age of fossil fuel madness, and climate upheavals, new paths must be carved out of the dense ignorance that seems to encapsulate our accepted imitation.

New paths start with identifying our simple and most obvious daily tasks and tweaking them so they become more environmentally friendly as well as cost effective in terms of the three Rs (reduce, reuse and recycle). The tools we use to perform these daily tasks are constantly being updated. One good example is laserjet printers.

We don't realize it, but laserjet printers consume an extraordinary amount of oil each year. Over 50,000 tons of oil is needed each year to fill the 100 million laser printer cartridges we use at home and at the office. That's an astonishing number, and it definitely needs our attention.

Soybeans Are Showing Us A Better Way In Terms Of Oil Consumption
There has been a lot of talk about soybeans, especially when it comes to the oil content within the beans. Some environmental experts believe that soybean oil is one answer to the ever-growing fossil fuel issue. Newspapers around the country have been using soy ink for several years since paper can be recycled easier when it is printed with soy ink. Some printer cartridge manufacturers have turned to soy ink and they now produced soy toners for home laser printers as well as office printers.

Soy toners are a win-win in terms of quality and cost. Soy Laser Toners produce quality prints, and they are competitively priced. The US produces soy laser toners so American jobs are not in jeopardy when we use soy toners. Other industries have been using soybeans for years to reduce oil consumption so it's time for us to imitate in a wonderful way, and switch from oil-based toners to soy-based toners.
