How to Change a Toner Cartridge for a Samsung CLP-610ND

The following instructions will show you the correct way to replace the toner cartridge on a SAMSUNG Colour Laser Printer CLP-610ND

The installing of the toner/imaging unit is a consumable item that is a function that can performed by the operator and does not need a specialist technician to do the job.

The toner cartridge AND the green imaging drum make up one unit, when removing or changing over, take care not to damage the drum or allow it to be exposed to light for any prolonged period of time.

Step One
Lower the front door.

IMPORTANT - The surface of the transfer belt must not be touched or in any way marked as this will be transferred to your copy, requiring the purchase of another unit.

With the front door fully opened the 4 colour toner cartridges are visible.

Step Two
Grip the cartridge by its handle on either side and gently pull towards you. Note the decals on front door which also explain removal and installation procedure.

Step Three
Remove wrapper from the new cartridge and carefully slot into its correct position and push home with your thumbs until it clicks home.

Note - Ensure each colour cartridge is fitted into its specified slot. A colour tab on the left helps to identify each colour.

When your new cartridge(s) have been installed, close the front door and commence printing.

NOTE: Many toner cartridges can be recycled, so before discarding your cartridge please do your bit to save our environment!
