Speed is the other major factor when looking at high output monochrome printers. The pages per minute you can expect with the Lexmark T650 are up to 45. That is a very respectable number in this class of printers. It also only takes 7 seconds to print the first page meaning you don't have to wait forever for your printer to come out of power saving mode.

Getting into the more technical aspects of this printer the processor speed is 500 MHz. The on board RAM that comes standard is 128mb. You can always upgrade the amount of RAM that is onboard though. Another upgrade that is possible is the paper trays. Standard you receive a 250 page standard tray and a 100 page multi-purpose tray. This can be upgraded all the way up to 4,000 pages. That shows that this printer is meant to go through a lot of pages.

This Lexmark is also very easy to connect to any type of computer or network. If you are connecting it to a network, you can choose to use the security system within the printer to protect important documents. All in all, the Lexmark T650 is a great option for a monochrome printer that you would have in an office.
