The Benefits of Using Toners - Why is it Important to Use Them?

It has been the advice of dermatologists everywhere that you should include toners in your daily skincare regimen. However, there has not been a lot of information with respect to the actual purpose of toners and the benefits that they offer to your skin. Most persons are aware of the benefits that cleansing and moisturizing offer to the skin but in a lot of cases, people are ignorant of the purpose of toners.

Human skin is generally acidic in nature. The pH of our skin has a balance of between five and six. When cleansers are used, the pH balance of the skin is disturbed by the alkaline nature of the cleansers. As a result of this, the skin has to do more work in order to restore its pH to a level that is natural and balanced. However, when a toner is used after the process of cleansing, it helps to remove the residues that cleansers tend to leave on the skin and it also restores the pH of the skin to its natural balance.

With respect to toners, many persons have misconceptions as to the use of toners. They expect them to tone the skin. However, this is not one of the uses of a toner. They do not tighten the skin or make it any firmer except for a few minutes after use. Toners serve to reduce inflammation of the skin. It also adds water binding agents and other moisturizing ingredients to the skin. There are some toners which tend to provide antioxidant and anti-irritant protection to the skin as well.

When choosing toners, it is necessary that you choose one that is alcohol free since there would aid in promoting the balance of the skin and also allows the skin to function optimally. Toners prepare the skin and primes it for the application of moisturizer or other anti-aging treatments. Using toners before the application of cosmetic products allows for the products to dilute which would aid in smoother application of your facial products. This would help you to save your product since a smaller amount would be used.

Toners also reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles on the face and it tightens you pores so that the skin appears to be smoother. For persons who have oily skin, toners serve to help control the oil and in so doing in controls acne and helps the skin to appear less shiny.

A Look at Laser Toners

Laser toner is the ink for laser printers. It is an extremely fine synthetic powder (usually plastic) packed into a cartridge. You insert the cartridge into your laser printer according to the manufacturer's instructions. When the printer goes to print a page, there are several steps to the process:

1. The printer receives an image from your computer.

2. Lasers project the image onto an electromagnetic drum.

3. The drum is charged positively and negatively, and at varying levels of charge, according to the image.

4. The drum attracts the four colors of toner in the cartridge according to the charges the colors are attracted to. The four colors mix to create any of millions of colors.

5. The drum rolls the image onto a page of paper, the page goes through a heating device to melt or burn the color onto the page, and the page is ejected.

This process uses up a lot of laser toner. Typically, a laser toner cartridge will yield a few thousand pages before needing to be replaced. The drum, too, eventually wears out from all the positive and negative charges it gives off, and needs to be replaced every 10,000 - 30,000 pages. Some printers are made with cartridge-and-drum replacement units in mind, while other printers are designed to separate the cartridge and drum. This way, when the cartridge runs out of toner, you don't have to replace the longer lasting drum with it. This saves you money.

You can buy laser toner from your printer's manufacturer, a computer supply store, online, or at any of a number of other types of retailers. To save money, you might want to consider buying in bulk.

Three of the most popular brands of laser toner are HP, Brother, and Samsung.

Saving Money On Refills And Toners Is The Watch Word

It is often the emergency job, or the boss calling for multiple copies, that suddenly shows that there are no spare ink refills or toner refill in the building. When this happens, all hell can break loose and people start to panic as to where these supplies can be found. It may be better for the office manager to keep one or two spares around so that nothing like this happens again.

Although these accoutrements are there in plenty, they do tend to be on the expensive side. These days, there are ways of replenishing the fluids by putting a hole in the cassette and doing it every time it needs it. The chemicals used for this kind of process are not that expensive and many offices would now prefer to have some bottles around the place for permanent use rather than having to by the complete cassette every time.

This goes a long way to keeping the country clean too since these cartridges often end up in land refills. They take forever to break down and, considering how many gallons of petroleum product it takes to make just one, this is just a very expensive and dirty way to make anything at all. Multiply it by all the machines that used these products and one can see how serious the problem is becoming.

One should remember though not to mix the black cartridge with the color cartridge since the process will definitely not work. Indeed, these cartridges will have to be disposed of eventually since they have a computer chip in them which wears out after some time. However, the kits come complete with a small drilling tool to make the hole, and something to block the hole once the fluid is in making this a very easy process all through.

Since many kids these days have to produce homework on word processors, they usually use up an inordinate amount of paper etc by producing copies with mistakes on them. Teaching them to print only when they are absolutely sure that there is to be no other alterations is a good thing. Add to this then the cartridges discussed earlier and the family should save a big amount on their printing bills in the long run.

Although many offices will not think of these kinds of methods to save money, those office managers who introduce it will surely get noticed. All these peripherals are just expenses and when the expenses are reduced, the profit margin is greater. Some companies also limit the amount of copies that each individual department can produce so having this kind of method in play means that they can get more copies out for the same budget. Of course, this helps everyone in the end since even photocopiers can use a similar method to save money. All it takes is for someone with a penny-pinching mind to discover what kind of innovations are on the market to really make a mark in their job. This could just come to the notice of someone important eventually.

Stewart Wrighter recently started getting his ink refills online because of the convenience. He found that ordering toner refill online is cost-effective as well as convenient.

Printer Cartridge Office Supplies - How To Make Toners Print Longer

Colour Laser Toner is expensive. Printer manufacturer's office supplies and stationery companies are delving deep into our pockets to relieve us of our hard earned cash by employing what in some quarters could be construed as unscrupulous methods. Any one following my articles will know why this is. Put simply, GREED.

I'm speaking of chips, chips that are disabling printer cartridges.

Is there a way to restart those pesky printer chips, well, the answer is yes and no. No, as in once the chip stops the printer that's it as far as the cartridge is concerned and you will not be allowed to print one more page until you replace the cartridge, but yes in that many printers can be tricked to override the cartridge by following a few simple instructions and pressing some printer buttons.

Let's begin by selecting a popular HP colour laser printer the HP Colour Laserjet CP1515n, the following instructions will be true of every printer in this field for example it's bigger brother the CP3523. Try it on any HP printer with a screen.

HP introduced a new design of printer whereby the cartridges are installed horizontally instead of vertically as with older designs the once very popular HP 2600 printer being a case in point. The CP1515N printer prints slow only 12 pages per minute, ample for the home user or SOHO but not rated as a business machine. The printer is priced to sell, on the face of it, its cheap. Not often factored in though by the buyer is the price of the consumables. The printer takes four cartridges black, cyan, magenta and yellow. Far from being an economical entry level printer this machine is a costly piece of equipment to run. Cartridges are on average as much as £65.00 for OEMs (original equipment manufacturers) and £51.00 for compatibles. To fill the printer with consumables can set you back anywhere between £210.00 and £260.00. Ouch!!

Lets alleviate the problem a little.

Follow these simple instructions to resuscitate a seemingly dead cartridge. The printer has a small screen on the front top right of the printer. The word Ready will be displayed unless the printer needs a cartridge then you will have a replace cartridge message. Below the screen are 3 separate buttons

1. An OK button flanked on the left and right side by triangle symbols.

2. A button with an ominous X on it. (cancel button)

3. An arrow in the shape of the letter U lying on its side for want of a better description (Returns you to previous menu).

Before you take fright at the task that lies before you console yourself with the thoughts that, there is absolutely no way the following instructions will damage your printer (guaranteed) even if you continually mess up.

You'll be quids in.

Let's begin.

Press the OK button once, Main Menu Reports will appear.

Hit the triangle to the right of the OK button once, Main Menu System Setup will appear.

Hit OK.Hit the triangle to the right of OK twice System Setup Print Quality will appear.

Hit OK. In System Setup Print Quality hit the triangle to the right of the OK button twice until Replace Supplies appears.

Hit OK. Replace Supplies Override Out will immediately appear.

Hit OK and you're done, simple.

You're cartridges will now print hundreds of extra pages even more than that! The first sign you will notice when your cartridge is truly empty will be fading print quality the printer ink will have finally run out.

I've singled out HP they're not the only company at this extortion racket most printer manufacturers are, why not, it's a great scam. In future articles I will explain other methods in overcoming printer manufacturer's tricks.

Are Factory Produced 'Artists' and Auto Toners Destroying the Music Industry

The music industry has had its ups and downs, from the highly publicized antics by some of the performers, to the near mindless hive drone mentality that drives the masses to obsess over some of its stars. With the 90s boom in manufactured bands and artists, to the new millennium auto tuners, are we losing sight of what good quality music should be?

Music, due to its interpreted value to the listener, has lead to a very large number of genres and sub-genres ranging from the eclectic blues of the early 1920's-1940's to the cult-like followings of early pop music like the Beatles to the rap and hip hop of the early 80's and 90's. Music fans can pretty much find something they enjoy. But are there artists and performers worthy of our attention and praise?

There is too much value assigned to artists and performers in certain circumstances that is definitely not warranted. Does a singer who only performs factory written songs deserve to be called a quality artist. Do people that can't sing and use an auto-toner qualify as good singers. The short answer is no, Mass media advertising and what is essentially propaganda continues to influence young impressionable minds (and those older people who are just as impressionable) to purchase music just because the company that produced it claims it to be good.

There are plenty of scandals involving performers and lip-syncing are they quality, are they worth listening to if they can't even sing 'their' own songs? I don't think so, just because someone wrote some good lyrics and you can auto-tone a catchy viral song in a sound lab does not qualify you as a good artist. More and more artists are turning into these mindless talentless money grubbing zombies and it really is unacceptable. You rarely see indie bands that can't perform there stuff live, why is that cause they actually worked hard and made something wonderful. If the big music dogs ever come to this realization they will make even more money than ever before, since people will know their artists aren't auto-tuned talentless hacks, otherwise the industry is going to continue to spiral down in self destruction as quality becomes scarcer and scarcer.

Cosmeceuticals Outsourcing - Lotions and Cremes, Serums and Toners Considered

If you run a company which has many extended product lines, and one of those is a cosmetics line, then at some point you are going to need to outsource the manufacturing processes of these products - and then private label them. Indeed, there is a big difference between cosmetics which make you look good, and those which actually help your skin go about its biological functions better. And then there are other issues, things that your customers will consider.

For instance, perhaps if they live in a cold and windy climate and they have chaffed skin, or perhaps they have very dry skin due to the desert climate they live in - in this case the cosmetic lines you distribute must be fortified with the important ingredients to solve those issues. What about chlorine from too much swimming in a pool, or beach goers and issues with saltwater. What about sunburns - all serious issues.

Any you most likely will need some sort of fragrance, but beware too much of certain ingredients as they can end up causing the very problems that your cosmetic products are suppose to be solving, creating an unwanted skin condition, surely enough to cause a migration of your customers away from your brand and all your product lines. Perhaps, this is why I often suggest that when dealing with heavily fortified cosmeceuticals that it's important to find a contract manufacturing company that understands exactly what it is doing.

May I suggest that you find a laboratory which also works with or is part of the outsourced manufacturing company of your cosmeceuticals? One which is also fully compliant with the proper GMPs using the industry's latest BMPs - and is also registered and/or certified by both the FDA and ATF? After all, it's important that you take the responsibility entrusted to you by your customers, those faithful brand loyalists who will be using your products, very seriously - especially if you expect them to be referring those products to friends, and also paying a healthy sum for a small bottle or container with a few ounces of your best grade products.

Let's face it, there is an endless need for special lotions and creams for every age group and demographic. Some of these serums, toners, and spot treatments can help alleviate pain, itching, and flaking of the skin when properly used. The question I ask you is are you going to hire the right laboratory and contract manufacturing company which will be able to produce the product that will in fact render the proper results. Indeed I hope you will please consider all this.

Liquid Filler Private Labels Manufacturing - Lotions and Serums, Toners and Cremes

Okay so your company is doing quite good and you have a loyal following of customers and consumers willing to buy your products health care products - your branding and marketing is absolutely excellent, and you even have special containers which set your product apart from your competitors. You've done a great job with differentiation and you have a product line, which can compete with the top brand names in the country for cosmetic products, but just having the best containers, best marketing, and best branding is not enough.

What you need is a good solid laboratory and liquid filler manufacturing contractor to help you with your private label needs. Someone who can take your containers and fill them up with the lotions, creams, toners, and even spot treatments that you need to sell. A fulfillment house if you will for your liquid products. And, since your products may be seasonally needed by customers, or your retail customers wish to stock up for the Christmas holidays, you need a fulfillment house with a flexible service.

Also, you need a fully compliant company with the best management practices in the industry, and one which is certified and registered with the FDA. They must have a competent staff so that when they are mixing the various chemicals they know what they can and cannot do. They need to know how much of each to put in the formula, and even how to modify the formula to get the results that you intend, the results that your customers demand.

That's a tall order isn't? Sure it is but that's the minimum required if you want to compete in this business. After all, just about every grocery store, drugstore, and large retailer has their own private label products. And every high-end cosmetic company also has a complete product line, not only for their high-end users, but often, for their second-tier customers as well. That is who you will be competing with, and that's why you need the best.

More and more these days your customers will require safety seals, so they can feel comfortable using your product. Also, oxygenation of various ingredients that are used in lotions, and creams can cause irritation to the skin. For instance, many of the most popular fragrances used in nearly 80% of all of the skincare products, shampoos, and soap products must be kept sealed and stored in a cool environment once opened. Therefore, any company you hire must be entrusted to deliver flawless liquid filler for your product lines. Indeed, I hope you will please consider all this.

Nothing Is More Frustrating Than Running Out of Printer Inks and Toners

You know what it's like - you've got a print job running and all of a sudden the printer says - can't go any further, out of ink! Like me, you're probably not so organized that you have a spare cartridge on hand, particularly if you use a laser toner costing mega-bucks. But this print job is important and you've got to get it done so you have to get another toner quickly - what to do?

You could try the local office supply shop which may or may not carry the toner you need or you can go online for usually cheaper ink or toner cartridges and speedy delivery. Going online is probably the easiest and least stressful way to get that replacement, primarily because the Internet offers such a lot of choice - Dell, Epson, Canon, HP, Lexmark, brother, IBM, Samsung, etc. original or compatible cartridges - as well as choices on price and shipping methods.

To get what you need, go onto Google and type in the name and model of your printer or if you know it, the name or number of the cartridge you need. The search results should bring up quite a few sites from which you can order. Next, you need to decide if you want a genuine (OEM - original equipment manufacturer) or a compatible or even a re-manufactured cartridge.

Each have their advantages and disadvantages. You can count on the OEM for quality and yield but you pay a higher price. Compatibles and re-manufactured ones come at a lower price but may not give you the same print quality or number of pages printed. If you go for the really, really cheap ink, you may also get printer problems so getting one at a medium price level might a better way to go.

As you probably already know, compatible or cloned cartridges are made by a third party (usually not the manufacturer of your printer - they hate clones!). Cloned cartridges are copies of the originals, many brands work just fine but some use ink that is not formulated for your printer and those can clog the print head nozzles or leak into the printer. Re-manufactured ink cartridges or toner cartridges are usually recycled cases that are cleaned with solvent, then refilled and resealed so in essence you're getting a replacement that should work just as well as a brand new original one. Again, the problems with these may be that really cheap ink is used giving you poor results or improper sealing which can mean powered ink all over the inside of your expensive laser printer.

Most online e-tailers will take back the cartridges that don't work properly but be sure to check their terms and conditions for returns BEFORE ordering because some insist that the cartridge must not have been opened. And how are you going to find out it doesn't work if you don't open it?

There are great savings to be had by going online for either genuine originals or compatibles but you do need to look beyond the sometimes incredible claims made on the websites or the price you pay may be much higher than you expected.

Cheap Laser Toners - Where to Find a Cheap One

People who need to print documents very often with their laser printer might want to get cheap laser toners to cater for their printing needs. The laser toner cartridge is situated inside the laser printer which has the required toner to print the text and images. If you are someone for whom the quality of the text and image is more important; then you should use the original laser toners but if you just want hardcopy of your documents then you can minimize your expenses by choosing alternative options. When your printer runs out of toner, you should avoid getting it refilled from professionals or getting new and original cartridges because it can cost you a lot of money. Not everyone can afford buying the new ones.

There are various alternative ways through which they can find the cheap toners. The original toners are called the OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturer) which are very expensive and the cheap toners are called compatible cartridges which of different brands. The main difference between them is they produce different results, the OEMs produces good and satisfactory results on the printouts which is of high quality and the cheap compatible cartridges produce faded and dull results on the printouts but they are not so much worn out that they cannot be used.

The cheap laser toners are manufactured by those companies who use the original cartridge, refurbish and then fill in the inks. They fill in the inks after the cartridges are properly cleaned and dried without any damage. This is how they make the cartridges very cheaply and sell them in the market. These can be used in the printers a good number of times but their quality of result is poor.  Nonetheless, it is said the cheap ones are good for environment because instead of being dumped they are recycled.

To find the cheap laser toners it is not necessary that you have to find a good shop and then purchase; it can be a lot of waste of time and money. You can search over the internet, find your relevant information and place your order, just by sitting at home and make few clicks. Internet has provided great benefits to people, one of which is the purchasing and selling of items online. However there is a proper way to find a good site which is not a scam and provide cheap laser toners. You cannot trust every website you find who is selling laser toners.

The American Bankers Association and the Rise of MICR Toners

The American Bankers Association has been in the forefront of any major developments in the banking industry of the United States since its inception in the 1840s. Many of the processes and procedures that have modernized the way we do banking today were the result of the initiative of the American Bankers Association. One such procedure is the method used for processing checks, which involves printing using MICR or magnetic toners. MICR toners came to be because the American Bankers Association made it so.

A Background on the Invention of MICR Toner

Checks have been in use for hundreds of years. The first checks came out in the 1600s, although they were not called checks yet back then. They were called goldsmiths' notes, bill of exchange or drafts. Checks made it convenient to carry money around.

But although checks have been around for a long, long time, it was only at the turn of the 1900s that issuing checks became popular. Because having a checkbook is more convenient than carrying money, more and more people opted to open checking accounts and issue checks.

The banking industry, however, was unable to cope with the growing volume of checks being issued. It took days for the processing of a single check to be done. The banking industry recognized the need to automate the way checks are being handled, and so in 1954, the American Bankers Association formed a commission to look into possible ways of automating check processing. This eventually led to the invention of MICR toner.

The Path to the Development of MICR Toners

The American Bankers Association began to work closely with the Stanford Research Institute for any automation solutions that the Institute could come up with regarding the problem faced by the banking industry. The Institute then came up with MICR technology; MICR stands for magnetic ink character recognition.

Printing fields on checks using MICR cartridges can make the checks easily readable by both a machine and the human eye. However, the beauty of printing with MICR toners is that the machine could still read what was printed out on the check even though there are other writings on the check, or if the check has been stamped.

The idea for the use of printing fields on checks using MICR was presented by the Stanford Research Institute to the American Bankers Association in 1956. The fonts to be used for printing checks with MICR toner underwent a trial administered by the Batelle Memorial Institute in 1958. Around fifty private printers participated in this trial. Out of this trial came out what is now known as the font E-13B, the standard font used for printing with MICR toners on checks. The American Bankers Association then enacted the implementation of MICR printing, and through the 1960s, it became standard among banks to print fields on checks using MICR toners.

Clearly, the reason why we use MICR toner nowadays is because the American Bankers Association saw the need to modernize the way checks are being processed. This modernization significantly made it even more convenient to use checks in our day-to-day financial transactions.

Inkjet Cartridges & Laser Toners

When choosing a printer, we often look at the price and the ink that it will use. This has made inkjets more attractive to buyers, since the prices of inkjet printers and ink cartridges are much lower than their laser counterparts. However, if you analyze the cost efficiency of using laser printers you will notice that buying the more expensive printer and toner results in savings in the long run. This is because laser printers can produce more with less, which makes them more cost efficient than their inkjet counterparts.

Average prices and output

The average price of an inkjet printer is about $200 to $300, and the average price of a laser printer is about $400 to $600. The average price of ink cartridges is about $30 while the price of laser toner used in laser printers is about $75. Given these figures, you might automatically choose the inkjet printer. However, you need to be aware of the estimated consumption of each type of printer so that you can see which one is more practical to use.

For one inkjet cartridge, you can print about one thousand pages of documents. It costs about three cents to print a page. On the other hand one laser toner unit prints as many as six thousand pages of documents, which means that it only costs one cent to print a page.

Low-priced laser printers

If you are worried about the high costs of laser printers, look for low-pried laser printers that work as well as some of the more expensive laser printers. The average price of these printers is about $290, a price comparable to most inkjet printers.

Inkjet printers are more popular than laser printers because inkjet printers are much cheaper. However, in the final analysis, you can see that using laser printers and laser toners is more economical because of the capacity of laser printers to produce more with less.

Laser Printer Toners

Laser printer toner, also called a 'laser printer toner cartridge' is nothing but a dry powder that is electrically charged during laser printing, so that it gets transferred onto the paper, thereby completing the process of printing. Usually, this toner comes in a cartridge which is inserted into the printer. One such cartridge can then be used for printing a thousand pages. Once the cartridge empties, it can be replaced or refilled easily. A cartridge, which can be replaced, offers two advantages: speed and portability.

Four types of laser printer toners exist in the market. First are the inkjet and toner cartridges produced by manufacturers under their own brand name. These are called 'OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer)', for example, Canon OEM, Epson OEM, Lexmark OEM, HP OEM, and Brother OEM. The second type is known as 'Compatible (Generic)' toner cartridge, which is produced in order to equal or excel the OEM toner cartridges. These are cheaper than OEM cartridges. The third one includes 'Remanufactured (Refurbished)' toner cartridge, which are recycled from the OEMs. And the last type is 'Refill Kits', which is the most inexpensive method to replace the toner cartridge.

There are benefits to using toner cartridges in a laser printer. First of all, laser printer toners have the capacity to print thousands of pages, and usually cost less per page compared to inkjet cartridges. Also, the printing speed is much quicker than inkjet cartridges, and they work on almost every type of paper. The only drawback of laser toner cartridges is that their initial cost is higher. Nevertheless, in due course they prove to be much more economical if a lot of printing has to be done.

A Review of Brother Laser Toners

Brother is right up there with HP and Samsung as one of the most sought-after brands of laser toner. The Japan-based Brother Industries was first famous for its sewing machines. It went on to produce all kinds of office equipment, such as machine tools, fax machines, label makers, printers, and other office equipment. They began making dot-matrix printers in the 1970s. In the 1980s, after HP blew up the market, Brother began releasing their own laser printers to consumers, and to other companies under the name of OEMed. Brother has a great reputation for printers and printing accessories.

You can buy new toner from Brother. There you will find plenty of personal, home, and small business laser toner cartridges and refills. You can also buy new toner refills in bulk, for middleweight to heavyweight business in need of massive amounts of toner on a daily basis.

One popular Brother laser toner cartridge costs about $34 from their website. This will yield about 2200 pages at 5% printing capacity. This percentage means that 5% of the page is assumed to be covered in ink. If you print a lot of photographs, that number will be much lower.

Be careful when buying Brother toner from third-party distributors. They will offer you lower prices under the umbrella terms of "compatible" or "remanufactured" laser toner cartridges. While some of these are perfectly reputable and suitable for a full range of printer uses, many others are below par. These phony cartridges will produce bad printing results and possibly damage your printer. Sometimes a third-party distributor might even package phony cartridges in real Brother packaging. You can find a list of authorized Brother retailers at their website.

A Review of HP Laser Toners

Hewlett-Packard is, along with Brother and Samsung, one of the most readily available brands of laser toner. This is due, in part, to the fact that HP was first to release a laser toner inexpensive enough to catch the attention of the average consumer, in 1984.

Prices on laser printers were much higher back then, sometimes costing $500. But the price on laser toner refill was a lot lower - about $30 a cartridge. Today, you can buy an HP laser printer for less than $200, but the toner replacements can cost as much as $80 if bought new from the manufacturer.

You can also buy remanufactured laser toner cartridges from HP. These are cartridges that were used up by the previous user and sent back to HP to be remade and refilled. These remanufactured cartridges cost about half as much as the new ones. These are almost exactly the same quality of new, and most people can't even tell. You only really need to buy new cartridges if you are a professional businessperson who needs to create documents of completely reliable quality.

HP laser toner can range from 50 cents for an unrated third-party remanufactured cartridge, to several hundred thousand dollars for a bulk shipment of a few thousand new cartridges direct from the manufacturer. Your needs probably fall somewhere between these two extremes. One popular HP cartridge is the HP No. 56 Black Inkjet print cartridge. This well received toner refill starts at about $14 and can climb as high as $30 via PC World-approved third parties.

A popular color laser toner refill from HP is the HP 97 Tri-Color Inkjet Print cartridge, starting at $23.

You can also buy new from HP at their website.

Soy Toners - The Environmental Friendly Laser Toner

Soybeans Have Been Around For Centuries
The Chinese used soybeans for medicine as well as food. The Korean grew them, ate them, and let them grow wild. The Japanese made tofu and milk out of soy in the 1st century, and the beans were finally introduced to America in 1765.

In 1933 Ford Motor Company sent $1.2 million on soybean research, and by 1935 every Ford car had some soy content. Ford also developed artificial silk, and named it Azion with the help of two chemists. Azion was used in hats, coats, and suits during the 1940s.

Soy beans and the United States have a marriage that keeps getting stronger. The US now produces over 75 million tons of soybeans each year, and the list of uses for this incredible as well as edible oil keeps growing every year. It's now wonder that soy ink has finally found a home in Laser toner cartridges. Millions of laser printers guzzle oil base ink toner at a rate of more than 50,000 tons a year. Our toner addiction adds 100 million laser toner cartridges to landfills each year and that makes no sense, especially when there is a better idea out there.

Consumers Have A Quality As Well As Green Product To Use In Laser Jet Printers
Soy ink has come to the rescue. Soy ink has been used by newspapers around the country for several years, because the paper is easier to recycle when soy is used for ink. Soy laser toner is made from soybeans. The green effect it produces is obvious since soy toner can print the same number of pages as oil-based ink, plus this environmentally friendly laser toner is priced competitively, which means costs don't go up when soy laser toner is used. Using soy toner makes sense by anyone's standards.

Someone once said "Men who walk where they only see tracks will never make any discoveries." That's certainly true when it comes to using laser jet printers that have original equipment manufacturer oil-based toner cartridges in them. Soy Laser Toners has opened a new path of discovery, and it has the potential to save millions of dollars as well as help us in the quest to be in sync with our environment. Soy toner cartridges are made in the US, eliminate part of our dependency on oil, and help in the effort to reduce, reuse, and recycle.
