Okidata C7200 Toner Based Printer - Price Reductions Make This High Quality Laser Very Attractive

Okidata C7200 Color Laser Printer

Overview

The Okidata C7200 color laser printer was at the top of its class when it was first introduced. Newer models are available now, but price reductions on the C7200 color laser printer make it a very attractive printer. That fact alone can make this a steal of a deal if you're in need of a high quality printer for a busy work environment. This printer is meant for busy offices with high print volumes, but it can also meet your needs with 1200 X 600 resolution color print jobs that you'll be more than just happy with.

Features and Functionality

For an older model, this printer has speed that is truly astounding. The C7200 can hold its own against its newer competitors in the office environment, completing large workloads with ease. The Okidata C7200 cartridges clock in with black printing speeds of up to 20 pages per minute, and up to 12 in full color. This provides more than enough speed to keep up with the type of round the clock printing that occurs in some offices that use printers of this class.

When you're dealing with high volume printing, it is also very important to have a printer with a large capacity. It doesn't make much sense to have those fast Okidata C7200 cartridges if you have to change the paper constantly. This printer is ahead of the class in that respect. The base media capacity is 500 pages out of the box on this unit.

If you choose to purchase the expansion for paper capacity, you can increase total storage volume to a generous 1690 sheets. Other expansions to the printer include full duplex capability or the addition of a 5 GB hard drive.

The Okidata C7200 cartridges do an excellent job of the color quality on all documents that are produced by this printer. Print values are very true, and there is no discernible banding in any images that are printed. Users will enjoy excellent color differentiation and blending, that combines to give you a very true image when printing both graphics and from photo files.

There are more figures showing how durable this printer is meant to be. The Okidata C7200 cartridges are rated for 10,000 pages, and the drums are supposed to last for three times that. This is just one example of Okidata's commitment to providing their customers with value for their money.

Conclusion

This C7200 printer from Okidata is a printer that is meant to work and work hard. It is an ideal choice for large workgroups that might have a large number of employees with regular printing needs. In a situation like that, this printer has the durability and the speed to keep up; something that not many of the competitors can easily say.
